UCB Technology is a joint venture between United Convenience Buyers (UCB) and Retail Information Systems (RIS).
The partnership was created to provide UCB members with technology, online tracking, EFTPOS and data management solutions from RIS.
Greg Kennish, group managing director at IntraPower said the ASX-listed managed service provider, will supply business grade broadband to UCB Technology’s 1,000 members.
UCB will also provide its members with an integrated billing services platform using IntraPower's Visibility.X management software.
Kennish told CRN, UCB Technology was looking for a way to deliver services to its regional group of customers.
“The deal took around four months to sign. We worked closely with the company to provide a secure network,” he said.
According to Kennish, the service provider will be looking to sign similar contracts with other companies.
“We use strong business-grade broadband partners like Telstra, Optus, AAPT, Clever and BigAir,” he said.
