In his new role, McManus will focus on fostering Interwoven's client relationships and generating new business for its CMS and document management products.
He will also expand the company's solutions that enable customers to update their web platforms.

"Australia is a key market for Interwoven with a strong customer base and Interwoven's acquisitions have positioned it well to deliver strong results for Australian businesses," he added.
McManus formerly established Interwoven in the APAC region before returning to the US to work in a range of other businesses.
Since his departure, he was looking to return to Australia and was invited by the senior management team to head up the business locally.
McManus will focus helping customers deliver value from their IT systems during the current global financial situation.
"In periods of economic hardship, the need to differentiate your product in the market is paramount," said McManus.
"Businesses need to make a move to being marketing-driven as opposed to sales-driven in order to stay a step ahead of the competition and Interwoven has a leading role to play in this."
