Intersell has signed an agreement with freight company Australian Air Express to offer reseller members reduced pricing for product delivery.
Under the deal, Australian Air Express can deliver any item that is less than 15 kilograms from any Sydney metro location to any Sydney metro location for less than $9.
For Australia wide services, excluding GST, fuel (4.94 percent) and security (3 percent), one kilogram of goods will cost a minimum of $6.85, 3 kilograms $7.50 and 5 kilograms $12.50.
Goods weighing in at 15 kilograms will cost a minimum of $7.25 within Sydney metro.
Other services include 24/7 same day service, two and three business day delivery, door to door including Post Offices Boxes and next flight, overnight, economy and off peak services.
Michael Blumentals, managing director of Intersell, told CRN that it recently announced a buying group that will continue to give reseller members cost cutting options.
"We're doing third party services including freight, insurance, finance even lighting, there's no end," he said
As of December 2009, Intersell had 415 of Australia and New Zealand's resellers members with plans to expand throughout the Asia-Pacific region in 2010.
Intersell reseller members have exclusive access to Intersell's IT Reseller tools for e-commerce, quoting, software annuity management, warranty tracking and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and marketing.
