Internode launch new broadband services
ISP Internode has launched ADSL broadband services that run up to 8 megabits per second for its Home and SOHO customers, with new business broadband plans in the pipeline.

The launch means of Internode’s 15 new nationally available “Power” plans, seven plans offer High-Speed ADSL1 services with speeds of up to 8 megabits per second.

Prices for the High-Speed ADSL plans range from $79.95 with a 20 gigabyte data download allowance to $159.95 with a 90 gigabyte allowance.

Simon Hackett, managing director of Internode said the firm’s aim is to give its customers the ability to choose the fastest broadband plans available.

“If customers are not already in an Internode Extreme Broadband coverage area, they can now use one of our new High Speed ADSL plans until our Extreme Broadband equipment is installed. At the entry level, we are making 1.5 Mb/s plans even more affordable,” he said.

Revised business plans will be released in February or March, once Internode completes service testing to ensure service reliability, latency and achievable speeds.
