NASDAQ-listed unified communications specialist Interactive Intelligence has bought its local reseller CallTime Solutions as part of the company’s strategy to bolster operations in Australia and New Zealand.
CallTime has been an exclusive reseller of Interactive’s communications software for 13 years, operating from offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland. The company also provides a number of call centre management solutions based on both Microsoft and Oracle software platforms.
It has 24 staff servicing some 50 customers spread across the financial services, healthcare, telecom, retail and non-profit sectors.
"CallTime has been our largest revenue-producing reseller in Australia and New Zealand for the last three years,” said Interactive Intelligence founder and chief executive Donald E. Brown.
“Following this acquisition we’ll have approximately 30 experienced employees to take better advantage of the largest customer opportunities in the region, while providing superior channel support.”
Interactive said it remained committed to a “sell-through-partner” strategy in Australia and New Zealand and that it was looking to bring more partners on. The company sells both through the channel and directly.
The CallTime brand would be folded into Interactive with existing Sydney offices expected to be consolidated into a yet-to-be announced joint location while CallTime offices in Melbourne and Auckland would continue to operate.
Under the terms of the acquisition Interactive Intelligence bought 100 percent of CallTime’s privately held stock in a cash-only transaction. No further financial details were disclosed.
