Intel Australia has appointed long-time Dell staffer Kathryn Hudson as its new channel marketing manager.
"There is so much creativity in the DIY, NUC [next unit of computing] and enthusiast areas particularly as the maker movement is gaining momentum – so it’s a very exciting time to be part of Intel," said Hudson.
The chip vendor announced that Hudson would serve 3,900 channel partners and more than 800 Intel technology providers that are targeting the SMB market.
Hudson spent seven years with Dell serving in various marketing roles. She departed as Dell as the APJ marketing manager for gaming in March and started at Intel in May, according to LinkedIn.
"Kathryn brings a strong understanding of the enthusiast and gaming market to the role and has experience in the channel world leading integrated marketing campaigns for resellers," said Intel ANZ national marketing manager Danielle Watts.
