Insentra has been appointed the exclusive Australian distributor for infrastructure software vendor Cloudhouse.
Insentra, which appeared in the CRN Fast50 in 2012 and 2013, will add the Applications Anywhere and Data Anywhere VDI products from Cloudhouse to its managed service offerings.
Managing director Ronnie Altit said the technology would allow Insentra to simplify the transition to virtualised applications for customers.
“Cloudhouse will significantly simplify our desktop-as-a-service and VDI implementations to reduce project costs while simultaneously improving our service,” said Altit.
“By being able virtualise any desktop application, while improving performance over a WAN, we will be saving time and alleviating some of the key complexities and pressure associated with distributing applications across modern operating platforms.”
Application Anywhere allows user to virtualise Windows applications and automatically package to remove platform dependencies. Insentra is challenging customers, claiming it can virtualise any application with Application Anywhere.
Data Anywhere is a complementary product that provides WAN acceleration between Windows applications and its database.
Insentra has signed a number of exclusive Australian distributor deals with vendors such as Quadrotech, Archive360 and ENow.
Altit said that Insentra would be announcing a handful of other exclusive distributor deals in the coming months.
