Under the agreement, the distributor, will stock the Panasonic Business Systems range of commercial signage displays and projectors - expanding its audio visual offerings.
Jacqueline Bergin, business unit manager for Consumer Home and Office Solutions at Ingram, said, Panasonic was looking to expand in the commercial SMB and A/V channel.
“Plasma Display Panels or PDPs are rapidly becoming one of the easiest and most cost effective ways to communicate to large audiences,” she said.
“Panasonic markets the one of the largest commercially available full HD plasma display at 103-inches in a single panel - this product and others - will now be available to Ingram Micro resellers.”
According to Bergin, the addition of Panasonic to the Ingram Micro CHOS offering complements the other products currently available through Ingram from vendors such as; Sony; Toshiba; Acer; Epson; and BenQ.
Mark Deere-Jones, director of business systems at Panasonic Australia, said, the partnership with distirbutor makes sense and fits with its strategy to become a supplier to the commercial SMB and audio visual market.
