Ingram Micro has launched its Trust X Alliance community in Australia, establishing an invite-only peer network that connects local partners with more than 500 member companies across nine countries.
The alliance is designed to help members address common challenges - including artificial intelligence adoption, cybersecurity, skills shortages and growing operational complexity - through peer collaboration, shared business insights and access to senior industry leaders, rather than traditional vendor-led engagement.
The Australian chapter launches with seven members, four of which worked directly with Ingram Micro to shape the local programme and establish its governance framework.
These comprise of Fuse Technology, represented by managing director Chuong Mai-Viet; Platinum Technology, represented by co-founder and director Steve Raw; Mercury IT, represented by managing director AJ Williams; and Precision IT, represented by general manager Luke Bradley.
All four organisations serve on the inaugural Trust X Alliance Australia Regional Council.
Mercury IT managing director AJ Williams has also been appointed Australia's representative on the Trust X Alliance Global Council, giving local members a direct voice in the alliance's international governance.
"Most technology partners face similar challenges around growth, talent, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and operational scale," Williams said.
"Trust X Alliance creates an environment where business leaders can discuss those challenges openly and help one another succeed."
Fiona Tipping, director of marketing at Ingram Micro Australia, said many partners were navigating the same pressures in isolation.
"Trust X Alliance is built on a simple idea: bringing those leaders together so they can learn from one another and grow together," Tipping said.
“Trust X Alliance provides a structured environment where members can learn from peers who have faced similar decisions and share practical strategies for growth. The founding members played a central role in shaping the Australian program, ensuring it reflects local market realities while connecting participants with a much broader global community.”
Ingram Micro's global Trust X Alliance community spans Australia, Austria, Canada, Germany, Ireland, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States. Its members collectively represent more than US$2 billion in annual transactions and serve more than 10 million customers worldwide, according to the company.
Australian members will have access to local and international events, including the annual Trust X Alliance Global Leadership Summit, bimonthly virtual leadership sessions and global affinity groups. A digital collaboration platform, TXA Expand, enables members to connect across international markets, participate in specialist forums and identify joint business opportunities.
The alliance complements Ingram Micro's existing community programmes in Australia, including Executive Connect and Women in Tech.
