Ingram has won the IBM Systems & Technology Group Distributor of the Year for 2006 award.
The distributor received the honour at the Annual IBM Business Partner Summit 2007, held at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney’s Circular Quay. The last time Ingram snapped up the title was back in 2003.
The judging criteria for the award includes: achievement against quota, total revenue number and quality of engagement with IBM.
Guy Freeland, managing director of Ingram Micro Australia, said: “The IBM Systems & Technology Group Distributor of The Year title validates our commitment to the success of the Solutions Group.
“We have very deliberately invested heavily in people with the requisite technical and other skills to be relevant in the infrastructure and software solutions space, and have augmented this with essential support through establishment of our technical lab, configuration centre and Orbital training programmes,” added Freeland.
