Ingram Micro’s Hassan Baickdeli said Toshiba’s Portege M600 ultraportable notebook has a recommended price of $1925.
With a base weight of 1.89kg and sporting an onyx blue or titanium silver casing, Intel's latest Centrino processor and a 13.3 widescreen TFT display, the Portege M600 is specially designed for mobile business users, SOHO, students as well as individuals.
Each Portege M600 notebook comes with an ultra-slim DVD SuperMulti (DVD±RW/RAM) drive that reads and writes in up to 11 formats. The Portege also features Toshiba's HDD protection system with 3D motion sensor technology, a built-in webcam and an integrated fingerprint reader for one-touch secure access to confidential information.
Baickdeli said the Portege M600 notebook will be a strong product in Toshiba’s Portege range of products.
“We have received many enquiries and interest from our resellers after Portege M600 was showcased at Sydney Expotech. We have already received many more orders than anticipated," he said.
