Spirit Technologies-owned security firm Infotrust has partnered with CrowdStrike and Norton Rose Fulbright to host a series of roundtables focused on cyber insurance, self-insurance and their connection with governance, risk and compliance.
The series titled "Securing the Future: Strategies and Solutions in Cyber Insurance and Self-Insurance" aims to provide enterprises with insights into the evolving challenges of cybersecurity, the intricacies of insuring against and mitigating cyber incidents, and the legal and compliance implications of these threats.
The first roundtable was held last week and featured business leaders across the public and private sectors, Infotrust said, adding that future roundtables are planned for the coming weeks.
""Infotrust is proud to join forces with Norton Rose Fulbright and CrowdStrike to spearhead discussions that are crucial for the protection and resilience of businesses in Australia," Infotrust chief executive Simon McKay said.
"This collaboration aligns with our mission to enhance cyber security readiness and response and deepen the understanding of cyber insurance complexities in today’s digital landscape."
The roundtables will feature cybersecurity experts, legal advisers and compliance specialists, and target C-suite executives, IT security leaders and compliance officers across industries, Infotrust said.
"Norton Rose Fulbright's expertise in data regulation and ensuring legally compliant data breach readiness, response and remediation combined with Infotrust’s strength in incident response capabilities along with CrowdStrike's vast experience stopping breaches creates a robust platform for these critical discussions," said Lisa Fitzgerald, partner at Norton Rose Fulbright.
"Our briefings are a testament to our commitment to elevating cyber security standards and supporting our clients through a comprehensive legal and security approach."
In late June 2024, Infotrust and Spirit Technologies' security division Intalock announced new branding as a combined entity.
