Indigo Pacific boosts NSW services, sales

Document and content management reseller Indigo Pacific has boosted staff numbers in New South Wales in response to Adobe sales growth.

Indigo Pacific said in a statement that it had hired three extra staff for the professional services and sales teams at its New South Wales office.

Hugh Millikin, chief executive at Indigo Pacific, said the reseller was expanding as many of its customers in the financial and government sectors were taking on the Adobe Intelligent Document Platform (IDP).

The reseller upgraded its Adobe partnership to tier one earlier this year.

"Workflow solutions, including IDP, are a huge growth area for Indigo Pacific. Our customers are continuing to invest more in solutions to dramatically automate business processes in line with corporate governance initiatives," Millikin said.

Adobe IDP included bar-coded forms and policy and security server products, the company said.

Indigo Pacific hired Mark Petersen for a senior account manager role. Anthony Jereley and Evonne Chin would join its professional services team in that state, focusing on J2EE and web content management, it said.

Petersen had spent four years as a "client relationship executive" at Novell. He had 24 years of experience in IT&T services, including at OXIS, IBM and Telstra, Indigo Pacific said.

Jereley, a former senior Java developer at Attain IT, would develop Adobe and J2EE offerings and would also be responsible for supporting clients and sales on J2EE technologies and related applications, it said.

He had about five years experience with Java, including roles at Sysao Australia, Euro RSCG and Cortex eBusiness, it added.

Chin would work in the web content management division of Indigo Pacific's professional services team, mainly on RedDot or Hummingbird implementations. She had six years in a similar job at Thomson Lawpoint, the company said.
