Increment becomes first Australian-owned SI to earn Microsoft Frontier Partner status

Increment has become the first Australian-owned systems integrator to achieve Microsoft Frontier Partner recognition.

Microsoft's Frontier Partner programme recognises advanced capability across AI transformation, security, governance and business change. Increment said the achievement follows its recent AI Apps on Microsoft Azure Specialisation and builds on its recognition as Microsoft's Data Security Partner of the Year.

The Canberra-founded integrator now employs more than 135 people across Australia and New Zealand. Its Microsoft practice spans AI, security, data protection, Copilot and cloud transformation, with its Frontier Transformation capability covering security, identity, data protection, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Azure AI and agent governance.

For ANZ customers, the recognition provides access to locally delivered expertise in moving from AI experimentation to what Increment described as "secure, governed and measurable outcomes" - a capability it said had previously been associated with offshore or global practices.

"Achieving Frontier Partner status validates the capability we've deliberately built in Australia and New Zealand," said Andre Herbst, growth and partnerships director at Increment.

"We've invested in developing local talent, certifications and delivery expertise to help customers tackle some of their most important transformation initiatives. This recognition demonstrates that world-class AI and transformation capability can be built and delivered locally."
