HTC has announced its first official update for its flagship One X handset.
To activate the upgrade, unlocked One X owners can go through Settings to About, and select Software Update. It brings with it a few minor bug fixes, tweaked auto-brightness settings and improvements to address those dissatisfied with reported short battery life.
Network-locked HTC One X owners may have to wait a little while longer for the update.
HTC launch the quad-core Android smartphone in Australia earlier this month. It sports a 1.5Ghz Tegra 3 quad-core processor, 4.7in 720p HD screen, 9.3mm thin polycarbonate unibody, 8MP camera and curved gorilla glass screen, running Android's 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich HTC Sense 4.
