The HP USB Leap Motion Keyboard isn't available as a standalone product, but will ship with a range of 11 desktops and all-in-ones. So far, the Leap Motion bundles are only available in the US.
HP has already added the gesture controller to the HP Envy 17 laptop earlier this year.
The Leap Motion hardware lets users control the PC from up to eight feet away, the manufacturer said. The embedded controller is smaller than the standalone version of Leap Motion, cut down to 3.5mm in height to fit into laptops and now the keyboard.
Leap Motion has predicted that its technology will become "ubiquitous among desktop platforms," but our review of the Leap Motion controller suggested that work needs to be done to improve its accuracy.
HP desktop models with built-in Leap Motion include the Envy 700 and Pavilion 500, and the all-in-ones include the Touchsmart 23 and Pavilion 23.
It's unclear whether the enhanced keyboard will add to the cost of the PCs; the standalone controller costs is £65, but didn't bump up the price of the Envy 17 laptop.
