Hills has added three new vendors to its audio-visual portfolio, with offerings that cater to various sectors in both businesses and government, according to the distributor.
The distie signed agreements with UK-based technology partners XTA Electronics & MC2 Audio, Canada-based Xilica Audio Design and UK-based Application Solutions (Safety and Security).
“Bringing these brands into Hills ensures we continue as one of the largest value-add distributors of technology across Australia and New Zealand targeting the company’s key markets, which include transport infrastructure, entertainment, education and health,” Hills managing director David Lenz said.
Products from XTA include professional audio processing equipment specialising in live performance while MC2 offers professional audio amplifiers, both rounding out Hills’ stadium and performance market offerings.
Application Solutions will provide an emergency paging and voice alarm solution to be integrated with Hills’ fire and security business. The company specialises in public address, voice alarm, commercial audio and 3D control systems.
Meanwhile Xilica will provide networked audio processors, advanced remote-control devices, and configurable digital signal processing (DSP) systems, which sends audio to different areas, managing sound quality to fit the environment.
Hills sees opportunities for Xilica’s technology in health, education, corporate and government where audio, video or public address announcements need to be targeted to specific areas or rooms.
“These vendor wins enhance Hills ability to provide customers with industry-leading solutions and demonstrates the Company’s capacity as a one-stop-shop for building technology solutions,” added Lenz.
