Secure access service edge (SASE) provider Cato Networks has appointed HAT Distribution for the Australian and New Zealand markets.

The new partnership brings the Cato SASE Cloud Platform to partners and managed service providers across the region.

Cato Networks is a SASE pioneer, integrating security and networking into one cloud-native platform.

The Cato SASE Cloud Platform provides secure, optimised access to resources from anywhere, with minimal effort or dependency on IT staff.

Josh Gammer, general manager of HAT Distribution, described the collaboration as a game-changer for clients needing flexible, secure connectivity.

He described the Cato platform as an efficient, cost-effective solution for businesses navigating hybrid work environments, as the technology simplifies network management while offering robust security without the high costs of point solutions.

SASE demand in the ANZ region is growing, Cato Networks said.

“We see enterprises of all sizes looking to consolidate security and networking point solutions into a single, converged, cloud-native SASE platform," Graham Pearson, vice president of sales, APJ at Cato Networks said.

He addded that businesses are increasingly looking to consolidate security and networking into a single, cloud-native platform.

In July, HAT said it had been appointed as a distributor for Licenseware in the region and prior that in May, signed UK-based cybersecurity monitoring, optimisation, training and insurance platform CyberSmart for the Australian market.
