HAT Distribution has inked a deal to bring software licensing automation platform Licenseware to Australia and New Zealand.
The distributor said Licenseware helps businesses navigate the complexities of software asset management to ensure compliance, reduce costs and maximise software utilisation.
The platform aims to help businesses streamline software investments as well as identify and eliminate unused or underutilised software licences, HAT Distribution said.
"In today’s landscape, efficient software asset management is critical, yet many businesses still operate reactively, exposing themselves to unnecessary risks and costs," said Josh Gammer, GM at HAT Distribution.
"Licenseware offers an alternative modular approach, allowing businesses to select the functionalities they need, precisely when they need them, using data that already exists in their environment, so no deployment is needed. This agile model aligns closely with the actual usage patterns of most businesses, making it a more efficient and cost-effective solution for our clients and partners across Australia and New Zealand.”
Alex Cojocaru, CEO and co-founder of Licenseware, said: “We are excited to expand our presence into the ANZ region through our partnership with HAT Distribution."
"This collaboration allows us to bring our innovative solutions to a wider audience, helping businesses streamline their software investments, enhance compliance, and achieve significant cost savings. Our mission is to empower organisations to manage their software assets independently and efficiently, and with HAT Distribution’s expertise and reach, we are confident in delivering exceptional value to our clients across Australia and New Zealand.”
