Cybersecurity technologies provider Group-IB has achieved Amazon Web Services’ Financial Software Competency, an AWS partner designation that recognises its cybersecurity tools for banks, insurers, capital-market firms and payment processors.
The competency covers Group-IB’s Fraud Protection, its Cyber Fraud Intelligence Platform (CFIP) and its Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) offerings.
To earn it, the company said it went through an AWS validation process that reviewed its architectures and security controls against the AWS Well-Architected Framework, examined customer case studies in financial services, and included an independent third-party audit of the performance, reliability and security of its products.
“As cyber threats become more sophisticated, financial institutions must move beyond reactive defences toward proactive and predictive strategies,” said Dmitry Volkov, chief executive of Group-IB.
Group-IB’s Fraud Protection, CFIP and Incident Response Retainer are available in AWS Marketplace, with further products planned.
Last month, Group-IB launched Prevyn AI, which aims to turn Group-IB’s data lake into rapid insights in threat intelligence and actions in Managed XDR.
