Google Cloud has announced the appointment of Gary Denman as its head of partners and alliances for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).
Sydney-based Denman replaces Angela Coronica, who is taking a career break to prioiritise family commitments.
Cornica was appointed as Google Cloud's ANZ channel chief in January 2022, having previously spent over 16 years at Cisco.
Having spent the last four years as head of ANZ sales transformation at Google Cloud, Denman will now focus on building Google Cloud’s local channel ecosystem and deepening key partner relationships.
“I’m delighted to take on this new role and work closely with our valued partners," Denman said.
"Our partners play a key role in helping businesses implement important technologies like AI, and I look forward to working alongside them to help our customers get the best from our solutions.”
Gary has over 30 years of global experience spanning IT specialist management and sales.
He joined Google Cloud in 2020, having previously served as McAfee's ANZ vice president.
“Gary's experience and understanding of the market will be foundational in helping our partners create innovation and deliver customer outcomes via Google Cloud," said Anthony McMahon, managing director of partners and alliances at Google Cloud Asia Pacific.
"We are thankful for Angela's contributions and wish her all the best for the future."
