Many businesses are now using Google Apps for the corporate email, calendaring and other important functions.
Google has released the Google Admin app for iOS, that works on both the iPhone and iPad, which allows administrators to carry out common tasks such as adding users, resetting passwords, managing groups, contacting support and viewing domain setting changes.
The app also makes it easy to review account activities in the audit log, and filter events by event type, administrator, or date range. For example, we could see when users were added or removed and if specific settings had been changed.
The app is straightforward to use although an administrator will need to enable "API Access" in order to use the tool.
An Android version of the tool was released last year.
