PARIS (Reuters) - Thomson and Taiwanese technology group BenQ have settled a dispute over patents owned by Thomson and related to Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) colour monitors and analogue LCD colour television receivers.
"This agreement includes the dismissal of all pending litigation and International Trade Commission proceedings filed by Thomson against BenQ, the resolution of all past disputes and the granting of licences to BenQ," Thomson said in a statement on Wednesday.
BenQ also agreed to dismiss the pending litigation and International Trade Commission proceedings it filed against Thomson, the statement said.
Further details were not immediately available.
