Former IBM channel manager moves to Open Text
Among those is Sean Guillemot, channel account executive who will be supporting Open Text’s channel business, including sales and solutions strategies and market development.

Guillemot worked at IBM for 11 years from senior support analyst to systems engineering and technical sales specialist. His last role was channel manager for the IBM Lotus brand.

The other appointments are Ian Poulton, Simon Niblock, Craig Bates and Tim Morris.

“These new executives bring many years of combined experience in assisting organisations to implement content management technology for business benefit,” said Graham Pullen, vice president APAC Open Text.

"They have all the essential elements in their skills and management to add further knowledge and provide positive impact to our business and as we enter this exciting stage in our development in Australia and New Zealand,” he added.

Poulton is senior solutions consultant for the enterprise content management suite.

He previously spent 11 years with British Telecom and was a sales engineer at Vignette Australia where he was architecting customer solutions involving the company’s entire product range.

Niblock will be lead account development executive APAC. He is also from Vignette Australia where he built, trained and led an inside sales team to support the company’s direct and partner channel.

His previous jobs include working at Microdec, Telelogic UK and Optus Cable and Wireless.

Bates is major account executive, A/NZ based in Melbourne responsible for developing Open Text’s relationships with key accounts.

Morris is Australian sales manager for Open Text Web Solutions Group. He was previously national sales director for Netcat.biz, an Australian-owned Web Content Management software company.
