Security vendor ForgeRock has appointed James Ross as its new managing director for Australia and New Zealand.
Ross replaces APJ senior vice president John Donovan, who left in March to join Sophos as its ANZ managing director.
Based in Sydney, Ross has been tasked with growing ForgeRock’s ANZ presence, focusing on revenue growth and business development.
“James brings proven experience in delivering strong results, empowering teams and creating a culture with a clear focus on customer success,” ForgeRock chief executive Fran Rosch said.
“He will play an instrumental role in further expanding the ForgeRock business across Australia and New Zealand by working effectively with delivery partners and the channel to accelerate growth and deliver successful outcomes.”
Ross was hired out of security software vendor Imperva, where he was its ANZ North sales lead before joining ForgeRock earlier this month. Prior to that, he worked at CA Technologies as ANZ country manager for cybersecurity, after stints at Telstra partner Communications Design & Management and IBM Australia.
“There’s a growing trend of global enterprises looking to modernise their identity and access management platforms to deliver new innovative solutions to deepen customer relationships and win new business. ForgeRock is leading this charge, and I’m thrilled to join the team,” Ross said.
“The ANZ region is primed for consistent growth, and ForgeRock has all of the ingredients to win: great solutions, a robust channel ecosystem and a trusted reputation for customer success. I’ve joined ForgeRock at an exciting time.”
