FibreconX and Global Edge partner for MSP market

Dark fibre services provider FibreconX and Global Edge have partnered to target managed service providers (MSPs) through an innovative platform offering advanced fibre solutions.

The collaboration will enable MSPs to access FibreconX's Pure Fibre connectivity network through Global Edge's automation platform, delivering on-demand network solutions via a self-service portal.

"The FibreconX Pure Fibre Network is the perfect platform for our new Global Edge self-service network automation system," Activeport chairman Peter Christie said.

MSPs will gain access to a comprehensive product suite including Bandwidth on Demand (BoD), Dark Fibre, Wavelength, Cloud connectivity, and direct Access to DC Fabrics.

"FibreconX is incredibly excited to be working with ActivePort who can offer a fully automated Network-as-a-Service that can deploy fast clean networks on the FibreconX infrastructure and offer it to the Activeport Partners," FibreconX chief executive Mark Rafferty said.

The partnership introduces an uncapped commission structure, designed to create new revenue streams for participating MSPs.

Global Edge's self-service portal, developed by Activeport software, promises to streamline service deployment from months to weeks through comprehensive automation capabilities.

The new dealer program is scheduled to launch in February 2025, with pre-registration currently available through the Global Edge website.

FibreconX's network infrastructure connects major data centres with dedicated duct and fibre systems, offering low-latency performance and guaranteed service quality.

The Global Edge platform aims to bridge Edge and Cloud computing, enabling MSPs to automate and integrate their existing products while optimising business network performance.
