Evideo Communications will now be able to offer high-definition video conferencing solutions to a broader range of customers following its receipt of Lifesize's top partner status.
As an Expert partner, the Sydney reseller of networking and telepresence systems will be able to approach government, health and education customers directly with solutions based on Lifesize's HD products, said founder and managing director Tom Morgan (pictured).
"LifeSize's HD video conferencing products provide a true-to-life, user-friendly experience [that is] affordable and reliable," Morgan said.
The shift from closed systems to internet protocol and high-definition was fueling an expected surge in demand for such systems, he said.
"We're expecting to see a big switch to IP video conferring this year and into 2011. The uptake rate [was] faster than experienced with the previous generation ISDN systems."
Morgan said the enahnced status will enable the eVideo a nationwide "one-stop shop" for their video conferencing, telecommunications and data.
