Enosys lands $1m contract with Dept of Education

North Sydney-headquartered Enosys Solutions has been awarded a contract to provide maintenance on Cisco equipment to the NSW Department of Education.

Enosys sales director Joseph Mesiti told CRN: "Enosys has a long history of working closely with the department and this contract was awarded after Enosys demonstrated to the department our expertise in all things networking and security.

"Our ability to 'get the job done' and hence aiding the department in performing their duties would have also been a factor in Enosys being awarded this contract," said Mesiti.

The appointment followed a department tender for the provision of maintenance and support for network hardware, according to a department spokesperson. "The selection was based on the information they provided in response to the tender in accordance with standard procurement processes."The contract is for the period of 12 months and the evaluation criteria included both price (55 percent) and non-price factors (45 percent).

"Being a provider of specialist security, networking and cloud services, the NSW government has always been a key focus for Enosys. Enosys will continue to offer services to the NSW Department of Education as well as other government departments and agencies in NSW, Queensland and Victoria," said Mesiti.

Enosys, which is also a Palo Alto Networks diamond partner, ranked No.7 in the 2015 CRN Fast50, having registered 105.69 percent revenue growth to become an $8.97 million-company. It came after Enosys debuted at No.8 in the 2014 CRN Fast50.
