Emerson appoints new NSW/ACT sales manager
Emerson Network Power Australia has appointed Spiro Taktikos as NSW/ACT sales manager.

Taktikos was previously the national business development manager for Emerson's Global Services unit, and has moved into the role as the company positions itself for growth in its largest Australian market.

"In the last few years we've observed the shift toward higher density computing in IT infrastructure environments, and these are the major targets for us," said Taktikos.

"We will continue to build on our position as the only company in Australia providing business-critical continuity technology for every aspect of data centre power protection, precision cooling, equipment racking and monitoring."

In his new role, his responsibilities will include managing Emerson's enterprise sales teams in NSW and ACT, which oversees sales for uninterruptible power systems, precision air conditioning systems, generators, automatic transfer switches and connectivity solutions.

"The challenge for today's IT manager - and the key benefit of what we offer - is to plan beyond short term infrastructure upgrades and accommodate long term growth through the implementation of adaptive architecture solutions that scale with their business," added Taktikos.
