Dynatrace has announced it has successfully completed the Australian government's Information Security Registered Assessors Program (IRAP) at Protected level.
Conducted by cybersecurity and digital transformation company Sekuro, the assessment enables Dynatrace to serve Australian government customers with the Dynatrace Platform, which provides observability, automation and optimisation for complex cloud environments.
It also further supports Dynatrace’s Australian customers to satisfy the cyber security standards required by government agencies.
“The successful completion of this IRAP assessment now allows us to expand our ability to work with both public sector organisations and commercial businesses which require the higher ‘PROTECTED’ status to have been reached,” said Rafi Katanasho, CTO and VP solution engineering for APAC at Dynatrace.
“We’ll now be able to provide the robust cloud capabilities they require to gain accurate and informed data insight in real time to make better business decisions.”
The assessment took place between September 2023 and January 2024 and required Dynatrace to work with Sekuro to perform documentation and technical configuration reviews, observations of core processes, remote interviews and evidence gathering.
“For several years now, the Australian government has been adopting a cloud-first strategy," Katanasho said.
"These organisations are constantly aiming to reinforce their cybersecurity posture while at the same time enhancing the level of service delivered to citizens."
"Dynatrace looks forward to working with them to fully discover the real benefits of the value in their cloud investment through advanced observability, AI, and automation.”
