BitTitan has used the Microsoft Australia Partner Conference as the launchpad for local availability of integration with Dropbox.
Available through Ingram Micro, the deal follows the global partnership revealed at Microsoft WPC in July, which saw BitTitan’s cloud services enablement and automation tool available to Dropbox.
Ingram Micro signed BitTitan in June, and Dropbox for Business has been distributed exclusively through Ingram in Australia since April.
BitTitan partners will be able create new services around another cloud product, while Dropbox partners will have free access to BitTitan’s cloud services in MSPComplete. BitTitan’s MigrationWiz tool allows partners to migrate data to Dropbox from a web interface, while bundling additional services like monitoring and helpdesk on top.
BitTitan ANZ territory manager David Gray said its partners use various storage options for different utilities, rather than have all of its partners compete. BitTitan also integrates with Box, Google Drive, Google Sites, OneDrive, SharePoint Online and on-premise file servers.
“In this region alone, thousands of IT service providers resell Office 365, and all of them want ways to differentiate their cloud services and offerings.,” said Gray. “By partnering with Dropbox, we enable Microsoft partners to easily create additional services revenue from an Office 365, Dropbox bundle.”
