DPSA hires key engineer from partner Schneider

Sydney based data centre solution distributor DPSA has hired a key support engineer from major partner Schneider Electric.

Edwin Gao has made the leap from vendor to distributor, taking the role of national support engineer at DPSA, after a previous role as systems engineer at Schneider.

CEO Jacques Tesson said: ““Edwin has extensive knowledge of the 3-phase UPS solutions from APC by Schneider Electric and many years of experience as an engineer.”

The new hire will give resellers support to help win deals and tenders, Tesson said. The appointment comes after a decision to refocus on the 3-phase uninterrupted power supply (UPS) market.

DPSA is an Australian-based data centre infrastructure and solutions vendor. Its vendor partners include Schneider Electric, Extreme Networks and G Data. As well as headquarters in Sydney, DPSA has staff in Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Port Moresby and Singapore.
