Distributor Veritech brings OpenVPN to Australia

OpenVPN Technologies has partnered with distributor Veritech to launch into the Australian marketplace.

The privately owned US-based vendor develops the OpenVPN Access Server, a set of installation and configuration tools for VPN deployment.

Under the agreement, Veritech will supply the software in Australia and provide local support.

Veritech said the partnership gave it the resources to further develop its Veritoken technology, a USB two-factor authentication solution for roaming users, through a working relationship with OpenVPN's developers.

Veritech chief executive Livio Mazzon said there was "certainly opportunity for further product development and OpenVPN add-ons as a result of us working together".

OpenVPN said it looked forward to future product developments and enhancements in the pipeline.
