OpenText Cybersecurity has recognised its leading partners at its second Asia-Pacific Partner Summit in Vietnam, with Dicker Data winning the Distributor Rising Star Award.
The two-day event brought together partners from Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, South Korea, Hong Kong and the Philippines, with almost 40 per cent of attendees from the ANZ region.
Partners received an exclusive preview of OpenText Secure Cloud, a unified platform designed for managed service providers that combines data security and data protection services.
The new platform will launch in Australia and New Zealand next quarter as part of a broader APAC rollout.
"As we navigate an increasingly complex threat environment, our partners play a critical role in helping organisations elevate their cybersecurity posture across the APAC region," Steve Stavridis, regional vice president for APAC at OpenText Cybersecurity, said.
"As recent partner award winners, Dicker Data and VITI Technology Solutions [Fiji] have demonstrated strong early momentum — supporting customers on the ground and contributing to regional growth," he said.
OpenText presented 10 awards, recognising partners for contributions to cybersecurity and sustained business growth across the region.
"We are thrilled to have been named OpenText's Rising Star Distributor of the Year," Pennie Stevens, general manager of software at Dicker Data, said.
"We see tremendous opportunity in our market for OpenText and we are committed to working with our partners to deliver best in class cybersecurity solutions to protect Australian and New Zealand businesses from growing cyberthreats," she added.
