Dicker Data signs Vast Data, adding to AI portfolio

Distie Dicker Data said it has secured distribution rights for artificial intelligence data platform provider Vast Data across Australia and New Zealand, to bolster its position in the growing artificial intelligence market.

Vast Data's platform enables organisations to manage and analyse large volumes of structured and unstructured data, specifically designed to support AI and deep learning applications.

The partnership aims to meet increasing regional demand for localised AI solutions, with Vast Data's technology eliminating traditional storage tiering while streamlining data management processes.

"Dicker Data has quickly become the go-to distributor for the AI ecosystem in ANZ," Vlad Mitnovetski, executive director and chief operating officer at Dicker Data, said.

"As AI adoption accelerates across Australia and New Zealand, enterprises need a data infrastructure that is not just high-performance but also scalable, efficient, and AI-ready," Gregg Machon, vice president of worldwide channels at Vast Data, said.

The platform leverages all-flash Disaggregated Shared Everything architecture to deliver high-speed data access and processing capabilities crucial for AI applications.

Vast Data counts major global organisations such as video conferencing provider Zoom and Pixar the movie studio as customers.

The company's solutions integrate with other AI technology leaders, including Nvidia, which Dicker Data exclusively distributes in the region.

The full range of Vast solutions is now available through Dicker Data's network of more than 6000 resellers across Australia and New Zealand.
