Paessler has appointed Dicker Data as its second Australian distributor, opening the network monitoring and management software further to the channel.
Dicker will sell Paessler’s flagship monitoring product for LAN, WAN and server networks, PRTG Network Monitor.
PRTG is also distributed in Australia by Victorian company Channel Success, which will stay on as distie for PRTG.
The addition of Dicker Data follows an announcement earlier in the week from Paessler that it will revamp its partner program by transitioning from a rebate-based reward system to a deal registration model.
Paessler APAC sales director Andrew Timms said the company would be in a better position to accompany and support its partners with their projects regardless of their program tier.
“We needed to introduce a raft of measures to evolve and improve our partner program," said Timms.
"The first major step in this process is to move towards a reward system that reflects a deal registration model, which offers increased value for our partners and makes doing business with us even more worth it.”
The German vendor has approximately 100 channel and direct reseller partners in Australia and New Zealand.
