Deloitte becomes Oracle reseller in Australia

Consulting giant Deloitte has become an Oracle value added reseller in Australia, the latest in a number of key IT reseller credentials for the firm.

While Deloitte was already a Diamond level member of the Oracle Partner Program, the new status means the firm can resell across the Oracle applications and middleware suite.

The agreement adds to a global SAP reseller agreement for Deloitte earlier this year, which would allow Deloitte to sell SAP directly to clients.

Last year, Deloitte Technology Consulting acquired two firms: Sydney Salesforce.com implementation firm Quattro and SAP enterprise performance management firm NXG Business Solutions.

Deloitte has also been busy creating its own technology platform. This year the company’s Deloitte Private operation unveiled a cloud accounting platform built in Australia.

Meanwhile PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) has recently announced a Google partnership.
