Dell is to quit the LCD television market, according to media reports in Taiwan.
Chinese language newspaper the Economic Daily quoted unnamed sources suggesting that the firm is continuing to refocus its efforts on the PC market.
Dell quietly retired from the handheld PC market two months ago after pulling the Axim Pocket PC models from its website.
The vendor is expected to roll the last of its LCD TVs off the production line by the end of June.
The world's second largest computer manufacturer entered the LCD television market in 2003 and sells its branded models in Japan, America and a handful of other regions.
