DataSentinel appoints Peter Ward as strategic advisor

Database specialist firm DataSentinel has appointed Peter Ward as its strategic advisor to guide the company's Australian market expansion.

Ward will advise on market strategy, partner development and service innovation, working alongside DataSentinel's team of database administrators, consultants and analytics specialists.

Ward founded SQL Server consultancy Wardy IT Solutions, which was bought by ASX listed MOQ Ditial in 2019.

Since the acquisition, he has held leadership and advisory roles at MOQdigital and Dijital Team.

Founded in New Zealand in 2019, DataSentinel began serving Australian customers in 2022 and established DataSentinel Pty Limited earlier this year.

The company currently supports several Australian enterprises across commercial and public sectors.

DataSentinel operates a partner-first model, enabling IT service providers to add managed data services to their portfolios.
