Data#3 wins Cisco hardware deal with Australian Signals Directorate

The Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) has awarded Data#3 a contract to supply Cisco hardware.

The $2.3 million deal covers Cisco switches and was awarded through the Digital Transformation Agency’s (DTA) Hardware Marketplace Panel, which includes network equipment.

An ASD spokesperson told CRN that Data#3 beat out two other vendors for the deal.

“[The contract] was run as an open tender through an established standing offer panel,” the spokesperson said.

“Three vendors provided a response and the bid offering the best value for money was chosen.”

The contract period runs from 18 October 2019 to 31 December 2019.
