Data#3 has a new win under its belt with the Department of Defence, with a $1.9 million server rollout.
The reseller was picked for the contract above other competitors, though the Department did not reveal who the other bidders were.
Data#3 will be replacing old servers, which will be used to provide remote access to staff not located in Defence buildings.
The contract began on 23 April and is scheduled to finish on 30 May. Data#3 will also supply support for the hardware, according to a Defence spokesperson.
Data#3 recently reported that it would miss its original earnings target for the second half of the year. However at the time, the board was still confident the company would beat first half profits in the second half of the year.
