Data recovery services specialist DriveSavers has set up shop in Sydney, NSW, bringing its more than 40 years of experience in retrieving lost data to the Australian market.
The company claims major clients such as Google, Coca-Cola, NASA and numerous celebrities.
DriveSavers chief executive Alex Hagan said the expansion would provide Australian customers with the same high-quality service that has made the company successful globally.
"With over 40 years of expertise, our mission has always been to help customers recover their valuable and often irreplaceable data," Hagan said.
The Australian operation offers a risk-free evaluation service with prepaid shipping labels and a no-recovery, no-fee guarantee.
DriveSavers said it is recommended by major manufacturers including Apple, Intel and Samsung.
Adrian Briscoe, appointed in October 2024, will lead business development for Asia-Pacific and Japan, and brings 20 years of data recovery experience in the Australian market.
"My aim is to build a strong DriveSavers partner program, creating a trusted ecosystem where IT resellers become true extensions of the DriveSavers brand, driving innovation and helping their customers successfully recover valuable data," Briscoe said.
The company's Australian office will provide comprehensive data recovery services for devices ranging from hard drives and smartphones to complex server systems and virtual machines. Recovery services will also be available for cyber incidents and fire-damaged CCTV footage.
