SMB-focused networking vendor D-Link has inked an agreement with distie Alloys for its IP-based security and surveillance lines.
Alloys has a focus on the AV, security and home automation sectors, however Alloys chief Paul Harman also said, in a statement, the company would carry D-Link’s full line of business networking and IP surveillance products.
“We believe that D-Link IP Security products have huge growth potential in the Australian marketplace and pushing hard with our non-traditional methodology will ensure they get the product exposure they deserve".
D-Link will also be working closely with Alloys to continue its strong investment into the training, education and enablement of its partners and customers through events, certification programs, D-Link’s new VIP Partner Program and newly developed Partner Portal.
D-Link chief Jacky Chang also weighed in on the deal, with a statement indicating the Alloys agreement brings significant incremental growth potential.
“Alloys infrastructure and commitment to the integrated technologies market and its non-traditional approach to servicing customers provides some strong synergy with D-Link’s end-to-end networking and IP surveillance solutions,” he said.
Chang took over the helm at D-Link just over a month ago, sliding into the seat of Domenic Torre, who departed after 14 years.
“D-Link is a fast growing company, with an expanding range of networking products for businesses and enterprises that are really unique. My focus will be on further growing the business through close associations with our channel partners and customers in the ANZ market,” said Chang in a statement at the time.
