Cybersecurity firm Dtex Systems opens Australian headquarters in Canberra

US-based cybersecurity vendor Dtex Systems has opened its Australian headquarters in Canberra.

The software vendor's advanced user behaviour intelligence platform combines endpoint-based user visibility with adaptive analytics.

Dtex will work alongside Canberra-based professional services provider Delv to deliver the platform, in addition to both companies’ government offerings.

Delv provides security and mobility services for government and private sector organisations, with a focus on security for endpoints.

“At Delv, we have been on the hunt for new and innovative approaches that can extend an agency’s security capabilities,” Delv chief executive Sam Smair said.

“In general, we have always maintained a strong focus on new products that complement an organisation’s existing security posture, technology and processes, and come with integrated data analytics.”

He said that Dtex fits the bill, with its ability to close major security gaps caused by negligent and malicious insider behaviour, as well as integrate with existing security log data management and analysis tools.
