CSG has struck up a national partnership with Chinese cloud giant Alibaba Cloud.
The ASX listed solutions provider has added the hyperscaler's services to its portfolio of offerings for its Australian and New Zealand customers in a move that extends the influence of the Microsoft, Amazon and Google cloud competitor into the local market.
“Alibaba Cloud has a complete suite of products that are cloud-based, ranging from infrastructure and cloud hosting right through to AI and data analytics suites," CSG chief technology solutions executive Gordon Tan said.
"This is a natural fit for CSG and we’re excited to extend our Managed IT & Cloud services, further integrating some of our product and service strengths with Alibaba Cloud’s ecosystem.”
The partnership will naturally see CSG offer Alibaba's cloud and infrastructure hosting, and CSG is also working to offer a number specialised Alibaba Cloud technologies including big data and retail analytics services.
The solutions provider will invest in resources to support the Alibaba Cloud solutions it will offer, and said it wanted to have the most Alibaba Cloud certified consultants in the Australian marketplace.
“We’re really pleased to partner with CSG, which we see as a natural fit for Alibaba Cloud in Australia. This partnership means more Australian businesses will be able to leverage the power of our cloud technology solutions to embark on their digital transformation journey,” Alibaba Cloud Australia and New Zealand general manager Raymond Ma said.
