In an exciting new initiative, Haymarket Media has announced it will be hosting what is set to become the premier diary date for the channel industry –the annual CRN Channel Champion Awards.
CRN, which is owned by Haymarket, will be hosting the inaugural gala event on November 2 to honour channel champions whilst raising money for charity.
Setting the tone for an elegant evening for everyone to enjoy, The CRN Awards will be held at the Grand Ballroom at the Shangri-La Hotel in Sydney with everyone in the channel invited to attend.
Helen Frost, CRN editor, said all ticket sales and auction revenue will be donated to the Cancer Council of Australia.
According to Frost a panel of industry experts chosen for their channel experience, will decide which companies or individuals will be short-listed for each award.
“Acknowledging our stand-out achievers is vital, particularly as the channel is such a thriving industry with ever-changing technologies. Channel Champions will provide a fantastic opportunity for us to honour market leaders and innovators whilst at the same time raise money for a great cause,” she said.
“Ticket sales will be donated to the Cancer Council of Australia as well as all proceeds from our charity auction. We already have some amazing items to auction off and the list keeps growing.”
