CRN debuts 2019 Channel Chiefs Directory

CRN is proud to launch the 2019 edition of our Channel Chiefs Directory – the Australian channel’s definitive reference guide to the channel leaders that can help you establish new partnerships.

The Directory includes data on over 100 Channel Chiefs and what they look for in a partner, plus which distributors they work with.

We’ve also posted a photo gallery of the 2019 Chiefs, so you can see them up-close and personal!

Compiling this year’s Directory highlighted some trends: vendors overwhelmingly told us they’re looking for resellers that have invested in their skills to become leaders in security, software development and business consultancy skills. They’re also looking for those partners that have chosen to take a leadership position by starting businesses in the internet of things, cloud, and SaaS applications.

But as we compiled the 2019 list, the CRN team wished that it showed evidence of other sorts of leadership. For example, as you peruse the Directory you may notice that fewer than 20 percent of the Chiefs are women. While our list does not feature every vendor’s Channel Chief, it goes without saying that more diversity across the industry will be beneficial.

As the technology industry and buyers mature, our community needs more voices and more experiences to draw on, not fewer.

For channel partners perusing the list, you’ll see plenty of familiar faces, and perhaps a few new ones. As always, the CRN team hopes you find this guide useful, and that it serves as a resource to foster new partnerships to come.
