Mimecast has unveiled Craig McGregor as its new ANZ channel director, replacing Rema Lolas after she left the company in June 2019.
Most recently director of channel sales at SailPoint, McGregor also served in channel roles at Microsoft, Adobe and Check Point.
“We’re a channel-focused company and strive to understand all of our partners’ businesses, making sure Mimecast is critical to their success,” said Nick Lennon, Mimecast’s ANZ Country Manager, in the statement announcing McGregor’s appointment.
“I’m convinced Craig will play a key role in supporting our partner’s growth. His background and extensive networks will help our partners deliver their business plans.”
McGregor’s quote in the statement said “Mimecast is investing heavily in the channel and I’m looking forward to build strong relationships with our partners.”
That investment has seen Mimecast grow its channel team to nine staffers, who collectively assist more than 120 partners and 1200 customers within the ANZ region. Brennan IT, NTT, The Missing Link, VMtech and Data#3 are among the company’s partners.
It’s a busy time for Mimecast, which last month launched the “Cyber Alliance Program” to offer integrations between its wares and other vendors.
