The countdown has begun for ICT suppliers to submit expressions of interest that could see them grab a share of a potential $100 million spending pot from the South Australian government.
Suppliers have until 5pm on 21 September to lodge expressions of interest for “innovative ICT solutions” for the state’s agencies and across whole of government.
The South Australian government foreshadowed the move several months ago, declaring that rather than asking for specific services it was calling for “innovative ideas”.
This month, it released specification documents and told suppliers it was looking for proposals that might create new jobs for South Australians, support and advance the state’s economic priorities, deliver better value for money and improve the government’s current ICT services.
