Brisbane managed service provider Corp IT has achieved a milestone in cybersecurity excellence, becoming Australia's first MSP to receive the CompTIA Cybersecurity Trustmark.
Corp IT, a 2024 CRN Impact Awards finalist, said it secured the newly launched accreditation by demonstrating adherence to rigorous international security standards and best practices.
The globally recognised trustmark helps managed service providers enhance their cybersecurity capabilities while aligning with key frameworks including the Center for Internet Security Critical Security Controls, ISO/IEC 27001, and HIPAA.
More than 400 companies worldwide are currently waiting to undergo the comprehensive certification process, which involves gap analysis, self-attestation, and a full audit review.
"Cybersecurity is no longer optional – it's a fundamental requirement for any business operating in today's digital landscape," Darren Rath, managing director of Corp IT, said.
